Ornate titi monkeys are an endemic primate that only lives in Meta department in Colombia (Figure 1). This species is classified as vulnerable (VU, by IUCN) because of the reduction and fragmentation of their habitat. They live in families (is a monogamous species), where the father carries the baby and pass him/her to the mother only to feed him/her. They eat fruits (including some seeds), arthropods (spiders, cockroaches, crickets and other insects), and flowers. They live in stablished territories that are defended from neighbor groups using loud vocalizations.

Los monos zocay, como comúnmente se les llama en el llano, son monos endémicos del departamento del Meta en Colombia (Figura 1). Esta especie es clasificada como vulnerable (VU) por la Unión Internacional para la Conservación de la Naturaleza (UICN) debido a la reducción y fagmentación de su hábitat. Los monos zocay viven en familia (es una especie monógama), donde el padre carga y cuida del bebe, pasandolo a la madre solo cuando el bebe debe ser alimentado. Comen frutos (incluyendo algunas semillas), artrópodos (arañas, cucarachas, grillos y otros insectos) y flores. Viven en territorios fijos que son defendidos de otros grupos vecinos mediante el uso de vocalizaciones de larga distancia.
